Description

Archival print by Angela Johal. This painting is a wonderful study in color theory and provides visual intrigue as the circles dance rhythmically about the canvas. Intersecting circles are combined with dynamic optical effects, resulting in each circle pair presenting a unique color puzzle to solve. An illusion of transparency appears where the circles intersect, which is achieved by mixing their two colors. Curved diamond shapes appear in the white spaces where the circles touch. This intuitively-painted, music inspired piece is sure to energize both home and commercial spaces.
